My wife and I worked with Alex and his team this year to purchase our first home, and had a great experience. I love great service. And I love it because great service isn’t something you can fake. It has to come from great, value-driven people who truly care about making your experience sensational. And working with Alex was an experience unlike any other. I didn’t know Alex when I met him. I found a place I was interested in and he happened to be the listing agent, so I contacted him and asked to see the place. You know how every once in a while in life you meet someone and you just instantly connect? That’s what it was like when I met Alex. I felt like I had known the guy my entire life.

During our conversation he inquired about my real estate needs and I mentioned that I was interested in the possibility of investing in a rental property. Well it turned out Alex was (and still is) a savvy investor himself and owned a number of rental properties. He also mentioned he had information on real estate investing that he would be happy to share. At our next meet up, he handed me a one-inch binder loaded with real estate investing gold. It was truly awesome.

I will share one more example of service above and beyond the norm. I saw a place in Barrie that I thought might be the perfect rental property. Alex, without any prompting from me, arranged a time and day to view the place and then insisted he drive me there to see it. I was blown away by that offer! He didn’t just go the extra mile, he literally went the extra 70 miles to meet my needs.

I will end my review with this thought. The majority of agents see you as a commission. Every sales trick and tactic they use is all about getting you to transact with them. There are a small minority of principle-driven agents who invest in people, not commissions, and their sole purpose is to build lifelong relationships by offering extraordinary service catered specifically to individual needs. Alex is most definitely in the latter category. You will not regret investing in him. The pay off is extraordinary.

Elaine and Alex and their whole team have been amazing to work with, and we recommend them to everyone who's looking for a realtor. We've worked with them twice now for both buying and selling and we were impressed by their patience and professionalism when guiding us through the market, neighbourhoods and what to expect, and just advice on how to choose a home. We never felt neglected or discouraged and could always rely on a quick reply to any questions we had, no matter how trivial or superfluous. Alex and Elaine went beyond just touring the houses that fell within our parameters, and took the time to show us what moving below or above our expectations would result in, giving us a much better understanding of the market and what our budget could and should afford us. As an example, when we picked something on MLS we liked they picked up a couple more in the area that were similar and even that we might like better. They fit the definition of 'Above and Beyond' perfectly. We loved their service and would undoubtedly enlist them the next time we get into the market.

Elaine and Alex are incredible! We have done multiple transactions with them and they have proven their value. They are patient, good listeners and hard workers. Alex and Elaine really demonstrate an understanding of putting clients first. I have gained a new appreciation for the value of a really good sales team by working with them. We will be back when we need them again!
